Frank Tao graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University with a Bachelor of Science in International Trade. He began his career in the Tax and Legal Services department of PricewaterhouseCoopers Shanghai, then led the Business Advisory practice at Dezan Shira & Associates before joining Hendersen Taxand in 2011.

Over more than twenty years in professional services, Frank has led engagements covering international tax planning, supply-chain structuring, transfer pricing, due diligence, M&A, compliance, statutory audit and market-entry strategy for Fortune 500 multinationals including Bayer, Krupp Stainless, FMC, Danone, PepsiCo, Tyco, Rolex, GE, Pernod Ricard and Alstom. His combined tax, accounting, finance, operations and legal background allows him to evaluate risk and benefit from perspectives beyond a conventional tax adviser.
